Clinical trial spotlight: Measure Autism Spectrum Disorder study

Researchers at the UNMC Munroe-Meyer Institute are conducting a research study exploring eye tracking for diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder in children.

The goal is to test a medical device, called the EarliPoint Evaluation for Autism Spectrum Disorder, which tracks eye movement while the child undergoing evaluation watches videos.

Participation requires one visit to the clinic.

Eligibility requirements include:

  • Between the ages of 2.5 to 7 years;
  • Suspected of having Autism Spectrum Disorder; or
  • Are typically developing (i.e. no concerns of Autism Spectrum Disorder);
  • Generally healthy with no acute illnesses.

Participants will undergo clinical assessments and watch videos on the EarliPoint(TM) Evaluation for Autism Spectrum Disorder device.
