A retirement reception for Lisa Muschall, director of administration and operations for the UNMC College of Nursing, will be held Thursday, June 27, at the Truhlsen Events Center. It will run from 2-3:30 p.m.
Muschall’s career with UNMC spans more than three decades. She started at UNMC in April 1990 as a special projects analyst in UNMC business services, including coordinating and facilitating the move of outpatient clinics when the Durham Outpatient Center opened in spring 1993.
She later became division administrator in internal medicine, oncology/hematology division. In April 2015, she joined the UNMC College of Nursing in her current role.
In both her oncology/hematology and college of nursing roles, she has won UNMC’s Gold U Award – in 2007 and again in 2021.
See these previous UNMC Today articles about her Gold U Awards:
- In 2007, she was commended for handling difficult personnel issues with confidence and respect. “Basically she is great!”
