What do you like the most about your training program?
I get to work with the best people every day. We have the cutest, most resilient patients. I also really enjoy the pediatrics program leadership and faculty we get to work with at both UNMC and Children’s Nebraska. Last (but definitely not least) – my co-residents are the best.
List some accomplishments that you are proud of:
- I swam in the 2016 Olympic Swim Trials in Omaha.
- Couples-matching into our top choice for residency training.
Tell us three things about you that others may not know:
- My fiancé, Paul Witt, MD, is also a second-year pediatric resident, and we really enjoyed working together.
- I was born in Italy.
- I swam in college at the University of Nebraska. GO BIG RED!
