UNMC and the City of Omaha will host a public meeting this week to discuss roadwork planned this spring for the intersection of Saddle Creek Road and Leavenworth Street.
The Jan. 17 meeting will run from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Durham Research Center Auditorium on the UNMC campus, and it will include a presentation by the design team from 5:30 to 5:45 p.m. The public will have the opportunity to view construction plans and visit with project representatives from 5:45 to 7 p.m.
The construction is part of a multiphase Omaha Public Works project #54229. Crews recently completed phase one of the project, which included new and improved roadway connections, sidewalks and street lighting along Farnam Street.
Visit the Saddle Creek campus public improvements website for more information about the project.
