Donning our gay apparel and musical sparkle is a 40-vear tradition for the River City Mixed Chorus, which performed its first holiday show in 1984. This year is no different, as more than 140 singers take stage to perform “40 Years of Fa La La,” featuring a unique blend of delightful harmonies and choreographed shenanigans as they present new favorites and old classics.

Light up Christmas with Lightwire Theater’s “A Very Electric Christmas.” Follow the story of a young bird named Max and his family as they begin their journey south for the winter. Immerse in a festive production celebrating the biggest holiday in the world – the 2024 Lunar New Year of the Dragon. Firecrackers, cymbals and drums accompany the acrobatic dragon dancers and vibrant colors from the motions of the endless floating lines of fabric, costumes and props that are created by the agile dancers and warriors. Choreographer Nai-Ni Chen has been making dances that bridge the richness of Asian artistic heritage and the dynamism of American dance for the past 30 years.
