UNMC faculty, staff and students are invited to discover volunteer opportunities within the UNMC College of Public Health and Partnership 4 Kids collaboration on Wednesday, Dec. 6, from noon-1 p.m.
This event will highlight how Partnership 4 Kids works in tandem with the UNMC College of Public Health to provide college-bound mentoring and goal-setting programs to Omaha’s youth. Attendees also will learn various ways to volunteer and help serve the community.
As a nonprofit that works with youths from preschool to graduation, Partnership 4 Kids provides students with support, career exploration and scholarships at every step of their education. The organization’s strategy has proven results that showcase its ability to put young people on the path towards success.
“The UNMC College of Public Health is proud to be a strong supporter and partner to an organization that does so much for kids in the Omaha community,” said Brad Pfeifer, the college’s assistant dean for operations and management.
Attendees are invited to attend in-person in the Harold M. and Beverly Maurer Center for Public Health, Room 2001. Lunch will be available to the first 30 guests.
