UNMC has several events lined up throughout next week to mark International Education Week next week and International Students Day on Friday, Nov. 17.
- International-themed Bingo Night – Monday, Nov. 13, at 5 p.m. at the Durham Research Center commons area. Different countries and cultures will be represented. Prizes are available to win, and food will be provided. Sponsored by the International Student Association and Graduate Student Association.
- Intramural tournaments – Badminton and ping pong, Wednesday, Nov. 15, from 4-8 p.m., and soccer, Friday, Nov. 17, from 5-7 p.m. All held at the Center for Healthy Living. Email the International Student Association to sign up. Sponsored by the International Student Association and Office of Global Engagement.
- Cultural Expo and Office of Global Engagement open house – Wednesday, Nov. 15, from noon-2 p.m. at Williams Science Hall, second floor. Tables will be available featuring different cultures, and attendees get a passport to stamp at each table visited. Lunch provided to the first 50 people. Sign up at the entrance for door prizes. Sponsored by the International Student Association, Graduate Student Association and Office of Global Engagement.
