Still need to get your influenza vaccine or an updated COVID vaccine?
Med center employees can do so with a quick stop at one of the two remaining Employee Health drop-in clinics, located in Nebraska Medical Center, lower Storz Pavilion. The remaining clinics are:
- Today (Wednesday, Nov. 8), 7 a.m. to noon
- Thursday, Nov. 9, 8 a.m. to noon
Med center employees must bring their photo ID badge with them to get vaccinated at drop-in clinics. Employees also are reminded to fill out the health questionnaire before arriving.
The med center’s goal is for at least 90% of employee and health care providers to receive the influenza vaccine and 100% to document their vaccination status in the Health Tracking System. It is required to report vaccination rates to The Joint Commission and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
If you received your influenza vaccine elsewhere, be sure to record it in the Health Tracking System.
