Olson Center brown bag will discuss youth vaping

The Olson Center for Women’s Health will recognize the Great American Smokeout with the Nov. 14 brown bag addressing “Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENDS) and Youth Health 101.”

Natalia Trinidad, outreach project associate, and Marcela Carvajal Suarez, outreach project specialist, both with the Center for Reducing Health Disparities at the UNMC College of Public Health, will present.  During this presentation, attendees will learn about youth vaping in Nebraska and in Douglas County, the effect of vaping on users and tips for talking to youth about vaping.

This is a free event and open to the community. Nursing credit is available for $15.
