You won’t “be-leaf” the events UNMC’s community partners have in store for this fall.
The Durham Museum is serving up a one-of-a-kind interactive exhibition that explores the ingredients in Julia Child’s personal journey. Child’s insatiable curiosity and tenacious spirit drove her to endlessly try, test and teach how to make delicious food. Learning to cook empowered her, and she empowered others, transforming American cuisine and food culture in the process.
Later this month, the Nebraska Science Festival (NE SciFest) and other local community organizations will participate in the museum’s Great HALL-oween Haunt. Come in costume and snag sweets from historical characters and spooktacular displays located throughout the museum. Reserve free tickets by calling Sydney Holmes at 402-444-5071, extension 521.
At the Omaha Children’s Museum, enjoy Cobweb Castle, a Halloween tradition without the fright. Clamber your way through the spooky maze, scale the castle wall or don a sorcerer’s hat and makeup.
The Durham Museum provides free museum admission for UNMC faculty, staff, students and their immediate family with a valid identification badge.

In addition to the featured fall happenings, UNMC has a discount program webpage to see the new discounts for memberships, restaurants, entertainment and more that are offered to all UNMC community members.
I love this!
Thank you for sharing. I am new to UNMC, I hope you have one also for the winter season 🙂
