An outreach and recruitment specialist from the Fulbright Scholar Program, the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government, will be on UNMC’s Omaha campus Oct. 5 to share an overview of the program, discuss award opportunities and review the application and selection process.
A hybrid informational session is scheduled for UNMC faculty and staff.
It will be held at the UNMC College of Public Health, MCPH 2001, and a Zoom link will be provided to those who register. More information about the Fulbright Scholar Program can be found online here.

Aferdita Krasniqi, who works on the Fulbright Scholar Program and manages the Fulbright Scholar Alumni Ambassador Program, is an outreach and recruitment specialist at the Institute of International Education in New York City. She leads initiatives with Fulbright scholar liaisons at U.S. campuses and serves as a lead for the Europe and Eurasia region.
Prior to this role, she served as an outreach and recruitment officer for Europe and Eurasia for five years and was responsible for the development and execution of key recruitment initiatives, including the Fulbright scholar outreach partnerships.
