How I fell in love with neurology: I have always loved problem-solving and puzzles. The neurologic exam and identification of neurologic diagnoses allowed me to combine these two passions. During my neurology residency, I was further drawn to patient care in the hospital and intensive care unit, which led to pursuing a fellowship in neurocritical care. I appreciated the opportunity to sit down and speak with patients and their families in the hospital. Being able to help them through difficult times in their lives has been an incredibly rewarding experience.

Memberships:

  • Neurocritical Care Society

Three things people may not know about me:

  • I enjoy long-distance running.
  • I love watching Husker sports, particularly Husker football.
  • I am excited to be back in my hometown.
