In his latest “Health Care Heart to Heart” podcast, UNMC Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, MD, speaks with Dan Anderson, MD, PhD, chief of the UNMC Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, about heart health.
Dr. Anderson and Dr. Gold, who is fond of joking that he is “a recovering cardiothoracic surgeon,” speak about the things they wish people knew about heart disease, the importance of prevention, how lifestyle affects the heart, how COVID impacts heart health and the importance of health screenings.
Dr. Anderson also shares the story of how he decided to follow his passion into cardiovascular medicine.
