Last Friday, 114 senior medical students at UNMC learned their residency assignments on Match Day.
“We’re just so proud of them,” said Wendy Grant, MD, associate dean for admissions and student affairs in the UNMC College of Medicine. “We’re so happy that they’re joining us in this profession. But we’re mostly so proud of their resilience and determination and kindness.
“It’s been really amazing to see how much they have grown over four years.”
