UNMC will recognize its administrative professionals on April 26 with a celebration of their accomplishments and achievements. The theme for this year’s events is “Laughter is Good Medicine.”
“The support that administrative professionals provide every day is key to fulfilling UNMC’s mission,” said Linda Cunningham, associate director of UNMC Human Resources. “We are grateful for their hard work, tireless efforts and commitment to excellence, and this event is one more opportunity to show appreciation.”
UNMC administrative professionals have options to attend one of three events this year. Two in-person sessions will be held in the Truhlsen Events Center — at 9 a.m. and noon — and a virtual session is scheduled for 9 a.m.
Registration is required for all sessions. Employees who plan to attend must register by April 17 in Bridge.
A light continental breakfast will be served during the morning session, and a light lunch will be served during the noon session. Participants can attend one session only.
Participants who attend in person must bring their UNMC ID badge to check in. Doors open 15 minutes before each session.
Individuals interested in volunteering during Administrative Professionals Day should email Giovanni Jones, noting the session and time frame they are available.
