How I fell in love with pharmacy: I realized early on in my college pre-pharmacy curriculum how much of an impact pharmacists can have on patient care in the hospital, clinic and community settings. Over the past 10 years, I’ve been able to reinforce that love for the profession through my work on rounds and in teaching the next generation of pharmacists.

Three things people may not know about me:

  • I’m a passionate Chicago Cubs fan.
  • I spend a lot of my free time with my wife, two sons and our dog.
  • My wife and I enjoyed wine tasting while living in Oregon’s Willamette Valley and love a good pinot noir.
