Brown Bag Lecture Series to discuss infertility

Elizabeth Weedin, DO, a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist at Heartland Center for Reproductive Medicine, will present “Turning Up the Volume on Infertility – Identifying and Facilitating Efficient and Effective Care” on Jan. 17 at noon. This webinar is part of the Olson Center for Women’s Health Brown Bag lecture series.

One out of every eight couples may deal with infertility sometime during their reproductive years. While not all causes are determined, there are risk factors for infertility. Dr. Weedin will discuss common conditions that can lead to infertility, which patients should be considered for early testing and when treatment is warranted. Common myths about infertility treatments and their side effects also will be discussed.

This is a free event and open to the community. Nursing credit is available for $10. Register by calling the Olson Women’s Health Resource Center at 402-559-6345, by emailing the Olson Center or through Engage. The Zoom link will be emailed to registrants prior to the event.
