What do you do to stay balanced?
I try to spend as much time as I can with the people who know me best and can provide much-needed breaks from medical school content. As I’m out of state, this means calling my family a ton for some lighthearted conversations and to work through bigger decisions. My girlfriend also is a medical student, so studying together has also made things much more enjoyable.

- My great-grandmother was born in Merna, Nebraska.
- When I was in high school, my biggest hobby was urban exploration.
