What do you like most about your program?
I most appreciate my co-residents and the support and friendships that we have.
What challenges do you foresee in graduate medical education in the future?
One of the biggest challenges will be keeping up with the ever-increasing plethora of information that is available to patients through the internet and social media and earning patient’s trust to both educate and treat them effectively.
List some accomplishments that you are proud of:
I’m a proud husband and father of three great kids. I suppose becoming a doctor was a pretty big deal, too.
Tell us three things about you that others may not know:
- I did my undergraduate degree in philosophy, which is simultaneously both the least and most practical degree, and I would do it again if given the chance.
- I make pumpkin waffles or pancakes for my kids almost every week, all year round.
- I am proficient enough with nunchaku to not hit myself…most of the time.
