Tell us a bit about yourself.
I have four children ranging from age 19 to 8. We live on a farm with many animals including goats, chickens, mini kune-kune pigs and cattle. I started my career in nursing at 16, working as a CNA. I have progressed in my education since, most recently achieving my Ed.D in nursing education.
What has surprised you so far about your transition to assistant dean role?
Working with the university for the past eight years, I have grown a lot in my role as a faculty member. The transition thus far has shown me there are vast resources to assist you and lots of opportunities within the university system.
What are you most excited about? Growing my leadership experiences and collaborating with others across the university system.
