How I fell in love with hematopathology and molecular pathology: A wait for the pathology diagnostic report for management of a patient intrigued me during my medical school clerkships. A few rotations in pathology drew my interest in hematopathology when I reviewed peripheral blood smears, and a diagnosis of Hodgkin lymphoma consolidated my career interest in hematopathology. The implication of molecular pathogenesis and precision medicine derived from individual’s tumor report paved the way to pursue my second fellowship.
