Holding onto hope when times are tough can take an awful lot of determination, and sometimes, an awful lot of determination comes in a surprisingly small package. Little Orphan Annie has reminded generations of theatergoers that sunshine is always right around the corner, and now the best-loved musical of all time is set to return in a new production. “Annie,” directed by Jenn Thompson, features the iconic book and score, written by Tony Award®-winners Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin.
- Bad Bad Hats, Nov. 11. Tickets as low as $22.50 with promo code. Bad Bad Hats is an indie rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Their music is rooted in classic pop songwriting, with elements of nineties rock influence and an overall lightheartedness. Kerry (guitar, vocals), Chris (bass), and Con (drums) have toured the country several times in their trusty minivan, sampling the best local cuisine along the way. They have toured with The Beths, Margaret Glaspy, The Front Bottoms, Hippo Campus, and Third Eye Blind, among many others. The band has released three full-length albums. Their latest album “Walkman” was released in 2021 on Don Giovanni Records.

Igniting joy and wonder at the Orpheum Theater, “Cirque Musica: Holiday Wonderland” is an all-new musical journey with the talented cast of Cirque Musica. Spectators will be dazzled by the acrobats, aerialists, hilarious hijinks and holiday cheer. Since 2017, Omaha-based R&B/soul band Enjoli & Timeless has performed every year on Black Friday to honor their time together as a group and collectively reminisce to the sounds of their favorite R&B and Soul classics. Over the years, the dynamics of this live ensemble has evolved, but in the band’s beginnings there were many voices that were a part of the Timeless collective. Sponsored by Omaha Performing Arts, this year’s concert in the Holland Music Club will feature all the vocalists of the past and several artists of the present. Join us for this one-of-a-kind performance in your finest black attire.
