Karen Carlson, MD, will present a free webinar on abnormal uterine bleeding. Dr. Carlson is an associate professor and vice chair of student and community education in the UNMC Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and a physician consultant/director of midwifery group for Nebraska Medicine.
The webinar will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8. Nursing credit is available for no cost.
The discussion will explore the physiology of menses and abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB) while describing the evaluation process for AUB in determining the etiology. Dr. Carlson will share treatment options for AUB, including medical and surgical management.
