How did you fall in love with neurology: I was first drawn to neurology because of the complexity and intricacies of the central nervous system. However, it wasn’t until I was introduced to the management of patients with medically refractory epilepsy in residency that I fully understood the impact that proper care can have on these patients’ lives. Epilepsy is a disease that has numerous psychosocial implications outside of seizures themselves and managing these patients with a multidisciplinary team can be challenging but very rewarding.
