Legislative candidate Raybould tours UNMC

Jane Raybould, a candidate for the District 28 seat in the Nebraska Legislature, tours the Simulation In Motion – Nebraska (SIM-NE) program during a visit to UNMC.

Lincoln City Councilwoman Jane Raybould, candidate for Nebraska legislative district 28, recently visited the medical center.

Councilwoman Raybould met with Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, MD, and toured UNMC’s Wigton Heritage Center and Dr. Edwin G. & Dorothy Balbach Davis Global Center. At the Davis Global Center, she took in iEXCEL’s education and simulation training capabilities and the Simulation In Motion – Nebraska (SIM-NE) program.

“I learn so much every time I come here,” she said.

“My big takeaway is that I am incredibly proud of how our state of Nebraska is leading the United States in health care delivery systems and health care learning systems. It’s an extraordinary experience for one to see all the amazing tools we have right here in Nebraska.”
