A construction team will repair concrete on level three of the parking garage connected to the Durham Outpatient Center on the med center campus over the weekend.
Beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 5, drivers will not be able to access the top level of Lot 2. Patient parking will continue to be available on levels B, 1 and 2. Work should be complete by the end of the day on Sunday, Aug. 8.
The work is being done over the weekend to limit disruption to patients and visitors, but should the lot become full, then they may be directed to Lot 50, the garage located on the south side of Emile Street.
A drainpipe above the entrance to the garage from 45th Street will also be repaired this weekend. This portion of the project will not impact traffic coming into or exiting the structure.
