Culture conversation: Healing, Part 2

The College of Medicine's Culture Conversation is a series of video interviews, material and other items designed to help leaders, faculty, staff and students of the college build their professional toolbox and strengthen the college's workplace and educational culture.

This month, we continue the discussion of "Healing." The attached documents will help continue the conversation:

Healing Culture Conversation – These slides can guide the culture conversation for this month. As a reminder, the concepts for Healing are: Be Here Now and Gratitude (Be Extraordinary Together), Peer Check (Zero Harm toolkit), and Cultural Humility (Inclusion and Diversity).

June is the second month for Healing – please be sure to debrief and celebrate the work your team members have done over the past month, and guide those colleagues on how they’d like to continue to build on their successes moving forward.

Leader Packet – This guide is meant to aid in preparation for the culture conversation. The first page provides a structure for the conversation, and the second page provides an additional tool/exercise.

These resources will be placed on the Be Extraordinary Together portal. Use that portal if you need to access these resources or any supplemental resources needed in understanding the concepts for the month. In addition, we provide tips and tools throughout the month on the Be Extraordinary Together Channel on the NOW. Please use this as an additional resource and space to celebrate all the great work in building an extraordinary culture.
