Education: BS in psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, with minors in Spanish and gerontology, and a master’s in medical anatomy from UNMC
Hobbies: Reading, seeing movies at Film Streams and spending time with friends and family
What do you do to stay balanced? I try to get enough sleep and take my dog Scout on plenty of walks.
Three things people may not know about me:
- I worked as a case worker for the Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging before starting medical school.
- I got married over Thanksgiving break last year.
- I started an intergenerational book club a few years ago, with people in their 20s through 70s.
