Reservations have been extended for the 34th John S. Latta Lecture on Thursday, April 21. The lecture will be delivered from noon to 1 p.m. (CDT) in a hybrid format, via Zoom and with in-person attendance (socially distanced).
Ed Boyden, PhD, will deliver the lecture. Dr. Boyden is the Y. Eva Tan Professor in Neurotechnology, Massachusetts Institute of Technology; professor in the departments of brain and cognitive sciences, media arts and sciences and biological engineering at the McGovern Institute and Howard Hughes Medical Institute. He leads the Synthetic Neurobiology Group, which develops tools for analyzing and repairing complex biological systems such as the brain and applies them systematically to reveal ground truth principles of biological function as well as to repair these systems.
He will discuss "Tools for Analyzing and Repairing Complex Biological Systems."
