Spring 2022 UNMC Orthondontics Residency Program Achievements
Anna Schoettger, DDS, MS, a 2021 graduate, presented her thesis, "Characterization of Aerosols Produced by Common Orthodontic Procedures," at the American Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (AADOCR)/Canadian Association for Dental Research (CADR) Annual Meeting & Exhibition held March 21-26 in Atlanta, Ga.
Ehsan Mostaghni, DDS, MS, a 2021 graduate, presented his thesis, "The Effect of Orthodontic Treatment with Extraction on the Upper Airway Dimensions and Three-Dimensional Morphology: A Retrospective Study Using Cone-Beam Computed Tomography Technique," at the prestigious Moyers Presymposium held March 5-6 in Ann Arbor, Mich. The Moyers Symposium has a long history of debating the evidence behind clinically relevant topics in orthodontics and craniofacial biology.
Minnie Vishwanath, BDS, MDS, MDentSc, program director and assistant professor, was awarded the T.M. Graber Teaching Fellowship Award from the American Association of Orthodontists Foundation.
