UNMC is evaluating the future needs in child care on the Omaha campus and is inviting parents to provide feedback on their own needs.
UNMC parents are encouraged to fill out this online survey. The child care needs assessment will help UNMC as it develops future child care plans, including potentially adapting child care services for the campus.
The discussions cross UNMC and Nebraska Medicine, and Nebraska Medicine already is seeking feedback on a separate but related survey. UNMC parents who offered feedback there are invited to participate in the UNMC survey.
The survey will remain open through Monday, March 21.
Any UNMC parent — current parents of children in the UNMC Childcare Development Center, prospective parents at the center or other interested parents in the campus community — is welcome to participate.
Results will be shared with Nebraska Medicine as the entire med center considers the child care needs of both UNMC and Nebraska Medicine.
Parent participation will be valuable in helping shape strategic plans for the campus going forward.
