A draft of UNMC’s strategic plan for academic years 2023-2026 is now available for review by the UNMC community.
Dan Shipp, EdD, vice chancellor for strategic initiatives, said, "The UNMC strategic plan represents our shared commitment to living our mission, vision and values daily. The current version of the plan is now ready for campus review and feedback. Including all voices is an essential step in our strategic planning process."
UNMC students, staff and faculty can provide input, including suggested revisions to the specific goals and strategies. Feedback and recommendations will be reviewed prior to revision, discussion and final approval of the updated plan by the Chancellor's Council.
The plan outlines eight overarching goals: Educational learner focus; research scope and prominence; clinical excellence; community engagement; diversity, equity and inclusivity; economic development; organizational culture; and organizational leadership.
