UNMC faculty, staff and students are invited to participate in a guided charcoal drawing class presented by Mark Gilbert, PhD, an associate professor of medical humanities and studio art at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. It will take place Jan. 18 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
It will be a hybrid class with the option to participate in-person and virtually. A limited number of in-person seats are available and will awarded first-come, first-served.
Those interested in participating must register by 5 p.m. Friday in order to receive drawing supplies for the class. Individuals who register after that can participate in the class virtually but will be responsible for providing their own supplies.
Faculty, staff and students on the other UNMC campuses are welcome to participate virtually. A supply kit can be sent to your campus as long as you register by Friday. For questions, email Channing Bunch, director of student life inclusion and diversity.
