Chase Pruitt, DDS, MD, Clinical Instructor, Department of Surgical Specialties
What I'm most looking forward to about working at the college: My primary goal is to increase the adoption of immediate dental implant care in decay prone patients. I believe this is the most underutilized procedure in dentistry today. By teaching atraumatic tooth extraction techniques, understanding basic implant surgery concepts, incorporating frictionless digital workflows, and helping others understand the value of lowering cost for the patient, we will achieve this goal together.

My family: My family lives in Omaha. I met my wife, Chrissy, when we were classmates in dental school. She runs her own private practice, All Smiles Family Dentistry, in Dundee. My two sons are Maxwell and Maverick. Max is six years old, loves math, and is an NFL fan of whatever team has the best record at the time. Maverick is five years old, loves Roblox, and has quite the golf game.
Favorite things to do on a day off: Since retiring from oral surgery on a full-time basis, I enjoy improving my physical fitness, working toward mental clarity, and creating a loving home environment.
Three things people may not know about me:
- I'm not a huge fan of blood….at all. Like…at all.
- I thoroughly enjoy hot yoga and meditation.
- Cryptocurrency is a passion of mine. I continue to explore ways I can help myself and others understand/create with this technology.
