Melanie Sinche, a national thought leader on career paths for science PhDs, is the keynote speaker at the Office of Postdoctoral Education’s annual event Oct. 29. All graduate students, postdoctoral scholars and faculty are invited to the event, which takes place in person in the Sorrell Center, Room 1005, and remotely via Zoom, at 11:30 a.m.
Sinche, who holds a number of leadership positions at the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, Connecticut, has addressed audiences nationwide, including at Stanford, Michigan and Harvard. She is the author of "Next Gen PhD: A Guide to Career Paths in Science."
The event also will feature the presentation of the office’s annual Excellence in Research and Pathway to Independence awards.
