Beginning this week, the elevators in Parking Lot 5 are being replaced. The initial portion of the work is expected to last for the next eight weeks.
"All of this work will be staged to have the least amount of impact on the staff and patients that use the garage on a daily basis," said Michael Tierney, project manager. "The attached plan (seen above) shows the areas that will be affected for the next eight weeks."
Lot 5 is the major parking structure just east of Clarkson Tower. It is located on the east side of 42nd Street between Dewey Avenue and Harney Street.
