What do you do to stay balanced? My family keeps me grounded so I prioritize my time with them, even if it means all the time I get is our weekly Friday night dinner. The same is true for friends — we love bonding over our shared experiences with walks across the UNMC/Nebraska Medicine campus or at parks on the weekends. These can get lengthy!
Three things people may not know about me:
- I'm a native Spanish speaker but lost my Spanish speaking proficiency until I worked in a calling center at age 16 as a bilingual surveyor.
- As a child, I was asked to audition for voice acting roles when I lived in California, but my parents disapproved, and we moved before I could convince them.
- In an alternate universe, I would have loved to become a math teacher. It was one of my favorite subjects in primary through secondary school!
Daniela, you’re such a gifted and amazing person. Keep up the good work.
