Why I fell in love with dermatology: Dermatology is a specialty in which your patients "wear" their disease, which creates an opportunity to provide significant improvements to quality of life, not only from a strictly medical perspective, but also from an emotional standpoint. Along with this, there is such a breadth of diseases and presentations that you are never sure what you will see on a day-to-day basis.

Memberships:

  • American Medical Association
  • Sigma Xi Scientific Research Honor Society

Three things people may not know about me:

  • My first research experience was at a slaughterhouse in Omaha
  • I saw the Queen of England in Edinburgh
  • I would be a chef if I was not a dermatologist

Clinic Locations: Chalco, Lauritzen Outpatient Center
