Aaron Mohs, PhD, to lead Faculty Senate

Aaron Mohs, PhD

Aaron Mohs, PhD, associate professor in the UNMC Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, will serve as president of the UNMC Faculty Senate for the 2021-22 academic year. 

 Dr. Mohs also is a member of the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center and shares a courtesy appointment in biochemistry and molecular biology.  

The Faculty Senate meets the first working Tuesday of the month, September through June, at 5 p.m. Senate meetings currently are only available via Zoom. View meeting dates for 2021-22. 

 Other officers for 2021-22 are:  

Vice President/President Elect – Trek Langenhan, MD, is an assistant professor and hospitalist within the UNMC College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine.   

Secretary/Treasurer – Elizabeth (Libby) Mollard, PhD, is an assistant professor and co-coordinator of the Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Program at the UNMC College of Nursing. She practices clinically as a Certified Nurse Midwife and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. 

Immediate Past President – Brandy Clarke, PhD, is an associate professor and licensed psychologist in the UNMC Department of Psychology at the Munroe-Meyer Institute for Genetics and Rehabilitation. Dr. Clarke also serves as the director of equity for UNMC.
