What do you do to stay balanced?
I feel so lucky to have a wonderful group of friends. We’ve been through the highs and lows of medical school together, and I love the silly parties, inside jokes and ice cream runs.
Three things people may not know about me:
- I came to UNMC for medical school after working with ID superstars Jen Cavalieri, Dr. Rupp, Dr. Hewlett, and Dr. Van Schooneveld in the Summer Undergraduate Research Program. Dr. Rupp kindly stored my French horn for the summer when I was moving to Omaha!
- My first publication was a translation of the first chapter of “Don Quixote” into Newspeak, the fictional language from George Orwell’s “1984.”
- My one act of youthful rebellion was learning French in high school in Southern California.
Congratulations Hannah! It has been great to work with you on the SHARING board in the past! Keep up the good work!
