UNMC College of Dentistry receives seven awards for excellence in communications
The UNMC College of Dentistry's Strategic Communications Department recently received first place honors for social media and publications at the American Marketing Association-Lincoln's Prism Awards, an annual celebration that celebrates excellence in marketing.
Additionally, earlier this year, the college received statewide top honors for community relations and social media at the Public Relations Society of America-Nebraska's Paper Anvil Awards, an annual celebration that recognizes excellence in public relations. The college also received awards of excellence for crisis communications, internal communications, and the college's magazine, "Cornhusker Impressions."
"The College of Dentistry is proud be recognized for excellence in communications, public relations and marketing," said Janet Guthmiller, DDS, PhD, dean of the UNMC College of Dentistry. "Erin Wirth, our communications director, has done an outstanding job developing innovative communication strategies and producing engaging communication materials that tell our college's story."
