Editor’s Note: Doug Ewald, vice chancellor for business, finance and business development at UNMC and UNO, is unable to attend today’s forum; Chris Kabourek, vice president for business and finance and chief financial officer of the University of Nebraska, will participate in his place.
The UNMC community is invited to attend — in-person or online — today’s all-campus forum with UNMC Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, MD.
Today’s event marks the first in-person chancellor’s forum since Feb. 24, 2020. All subsequent forums have been available only via Zoom.
Chancellor Gold invites the campus community to join him today in-person from 11 a.m. to noon in the Sorrell Center, Room 1005, or view the forum via Zoom.
Dr. Gold will be joined by Jane Meza, PhD, interim executive director for health security for UNMC and the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO), and Chris Kabourek, vice president for business and finance and chief financial officer of the University of Nebraska. They will discuss issues from COVID-19 and campus safety guidelines to the end of the fiscal year and budget updates. An American Sign Language interpreter will take part in the event.
To ask a question this morning in advance of the forum, email the UNMC strategic communications team.
