Armando De Alba, MD, honored as outstanding young Omahan
UNMC’s Armando De Alba, MD, was selected by the Omaha Jaycees as one of this year’s “10 Outstanding Young Omahans.” The award honors individuals between the ages of 21 and 40 who show exemplary commitment to improving the community through selfless acts of kindness while excelling in their professional careers.
“This award isn’t individual; it represents a collective effort. I’m deeply thankful,” Dr. De Alba said.
Jane Potter, MD, honored by Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging
Jane Potter, MD, has received the Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging’s first Spirit of Aging Award in the medical/health care category in recognition of the contributions older adults make to help build strong communities across the country. She is one of three individuals and a local church congregation nominated and selected for ENOA awards by ENOA staff members.
