Nominations open for community engagement awards

Heidi Keeler, Ph.D., director of the office of community engagement, Megan Vandergriend , president of UNMC's chapter of American Pharmacists Association - Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP), Kelsie Post Operation Immunization co-chair, Emily Casey Tomes, Operation Immunization co-chair, Dele Davies, M.D., senior vice chancellor of academic affairs, at 2019's OCE Awards.

Nominations are being accepted for the annual Office of Community Engagement Service Awards.

The awards honor student organizations and faculty advisors who have provided health care service and/or programming within the community.

Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to submit nominations within ENGAGE. Nominations are due by March 26.

The Office of Community Engagement Awards Ceremony will be held on April 8 at 11 a.m.

Eligible submissions will be reviewed by selected peers and faculty external to the Office of Community Engagement.
