I have admired people who advocated for science and embraced tenacity in the pursuit of truth. Additionally, I have been inspired by those who have tirelessly sought justice for those who were unable to access health care.

When a student realizes the significant effect they’ve had on a patient’s life

What advice would you give other faculty members who want to have an impact in education?

Focus on what you’re passionate about, and you’ll be able to convey that enthusiasm to your students.
