How long is your training program and how long have you been at UNMC? I am 2.5 years into the three-year program.
What do you like the most about your training program? We have great support between co-residents and our faculty. I couldn’t ask for a better group of people to train with and learn from!
What challenges do you foresee in graduate medical education in the future? With COVID transitioning a majority of learning to an online format, there are going to be classes of residents with decreased clinical exposure compared to years prior.
List some accomplishments that you are proud of: Over the last year, I became chief resident, helped construct our intern orientation curriculum and accepted a medical education fellowship at Maimonides.
Tell us three things about you that others may not know:
- I have a collection of film cameras.
- I’ve created a fool-proof plan on how to win “Survivor.”
- My best friends and I have a tradition of taking pictures at every photobooth we see together.
