Education: BA in chemistry and Spanish, Vanderbilt University

Hobbies: I love to play tennis and am still looking for a hitting partner! I also love cooking, swimming, and playing the piano. Although I have not had cable for a while, my favorite channels are the Food Network and the Game Show Network.

Staying Balanced: Whenever school gets overwhelming, cooking and chatting with old friends relaxes me. Also, my post-test ritual is to go to Trader Joe’s for their chocolate lava cakes.

• I am Lebanese, yet my parents named me after an Italian-American actress.
• I am 22 and already have two gray hairs.
• I broke my hand in college and got a wink from Joe Jonas with a poster that said “sign my cast?”
