The 2020 Diabetes Update Conference, presented by the UNMC Center for Continuing Education, will be held virtually on Oct. 9 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The event will provide an update on diabetes management, with emphasis on hypoglycemia, treatment options and strategies for patients with complications, interpretation of continuous glucose monitoring systems, hypertension and cardiovascular disease, treatment of patients with COVID-19, medical nutrition therapy interventions, and the medical challenges that diabetes patients face.
The symposium is intended for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, dietitians, pharmacists and others who care for patients with diabetes.
