How I fell in love with orthopaedic surgery: Orthopaedic surgery, specifically joint replacement surgery, improves patient quality of life significantly.

Three things people may not know about me:

  • I have a wife, Chelsea, who is a pediatric speech pathologist, and a daughter, Quinn. We both grew up in Nebraska and went to the same high school, Millard South. Both of our families live in Omaha. I have three brothers and two sisters.
  • I played football at Morningside College and for two seasons with the Omaha Beef.
  • I like spending time with my family, traveling, lifting weights and playing pickup basketball.

    Small world, our daughter Olivia, a Millard South graduate as well, started a graduate program at Duke this fall. Glad you are back in Omaha.
