There is now a new resource page on the COVID-19 Resources website for managers to refer to when employees have concerns about returning to campus.
The Tips for Managers guide addresses topics such as:
- How to communicate with employees who are worried about being exposed to coronavirus when they return to campus;
- The safety measures in place for those who work on-site; and
- Setting clear goals and expectations.
Administrators, managers and supervisors are encouraged to seek assistance from human resources when they are unsure of policies, process and best practices.
“All of these resources are intended to help our employees continue to work safely as we all navigate the changes to our working lives brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, said Linda Cunningham, associate director of human resources at UNMC.
